A recent change in legislation means that it is now the law to have a valid NCT certificate with any car over 4 years old or 5 penalty points may be awarded against the owner. The government has initiated a dedicated website www.penaltypoints.ie to help inform the public of the changes to the penalty points system. It lists the 31 new offences as well as the 4 existing ones.

Our complete NCT Pre Test is a Health check on your vehicle that will highlight any areas in need of repair in order to pass the NCT test. This check covers the most common NCT fail points and ensures that your car will be right on the day. Items covered include:
- Tyre Thread & Brake Pad Test
- Check all bulb function & Focus Light Levels
- Suspension Function & Balance
- Removal of any dashboard lights
- Underbody inspection (oil leaks, excessive corrosion, brake lines etc)
If any further areas are in need of repair they will be brought to your attention and an estimate given prior to any work being carried out.
